By accessing and using Doxy (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Service.
2. Changes to the Terms
We reserve the right to modify or replace these terms at any time. We will provide notice of any changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
3. Use of the Service
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms. You may not use the Service:
- ✓In any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
- ✓To exploit, harm, or attempt to exploit or harm minors in any way
- ✓To engage in any conduct that restricts or inhibits anyone's use or enjoyment of the Service
4. Document Retention
Documents generated by the Service are retained according to the following schedule:
- ✓Documents are stored for up to one week from generation, after which they are automatically deleted from our servers
- ✓After a document is downloaded, it remains available for 24 hours before being automatically deleted
- ✓Downloads are provided via signed Google Storage URLs that automatically open in your browser when clicking the download button. API users receive these signed URLs directly from the download endpoint
5. Credits Policy
Our service operates on a credit-based system with the following policies:
- ✓One credit is charged per document generated, regardless of size
- ✓For single document requests via UI: Credits are deducted when a download link is provided, regardless of whether the link is used or not
- ✓For API batch requests: Credits are deducted when the batch is completed, for successful documents only
